I reached out and he was still available. I knew it was meant to be. I put in an application, sent a video of where Ozzy would live and waited while our vet reference and personal references were verified. I got the call that if I wanted him, he was ours. We wasted no time and that coming weekend made the trip to Greenville to bring him home.

He has changed our lives. He started out a little timid and it took time, but he is the life of our home. He loves to travel and he has already been on many road trips including two camping trips in our travel trailer. He’s always ready to go and loves meeting people and dogs. He’s obsessed with our neighbor’s two dogs, a Boston Terrier and a black lab. He might be small, but he loves playing with all sizes of dogs. He currently goes to Doggie Daycare once a week for socialization and playtime and he loves it! We pick him up and he’s exhausted but so incredibly happy.

Ozzy is a little obsessed with food. He always wants some ofthe people “food”. He will eat anything including veggies, fruitsand cheese. Sometimes he gets fixated on whatever we are eating and will cry until we give him a taste. It’s hard to deny him when he looks at us with those huge eyes and we fall for it every time.

He’s such a joy to come home to. He is always excited to see us and spends his time going between my husband’s lap and mine. He demands attention in the best way and is happiest being at our side. He’s tolerant of “mom” buying him Christmas sweaters, Halloween costumes, pajamas and hoodies. Deep down he loves it and likes showing off his clothing.

We are ready for more travel, more clothes and doggie play dates. He’s extremely spoiled and loved but watching how happy he is, makes us happy. If you are thinking about adopting, just do it. Your life and theirs will be changed forever!
